Her Majesty’s Ship started its journey at the beginning of a worldwide plague. In the home studio of the nightlife admiral Haim Vitali, when he’s bearing his electric guitar, various effects and a suitcase filled with pieces inspired by his classical-musical education. Since then, the soviet Capitan Max Gertzen and the pirate skipper Sharon Sometimes have joined the ship’s crew, and the voyage reaches many ports across the soundscape.
Influenced by soundtracks of westerns and sci-fi movies, classic guitar arrangements by composers like Bach and Francisco Tárrega, and contemporary influences of Ennio Morricone, Philip Glass and Michael Nyman – the group plays original instrumental music.
HMS is bringing an embracing gospel to our modern, rest-deprived world. Its goal is to invoke emotion with sweet melodies of guitar and string, romantic arpeggios, echos and feedback, which create the circumstances to sail deep in the sounds.

Haim Vitali Cohen Bio
Musician, DJ and producer of cultural events and nightlife. Guitar player with a classical musical background from a conservatory in Be’er Sheva. Moved to Tel Aviv with a dream to become a rockstar but eventually metamorphosed into a DJstar in the gay parties scene of the big city with his party line - KOKSHOCK. HMS is Haim’s current musical project, where his original compositions are performed live. These compositions will be included in his upcoming album of imaginary soundtracks.
Max Gertzen Bio
Person of the world and a love warrior. Keyboardist, saxophonist, performance and bizarre artist, and musical creator for exhibitions and films. After abandoning his love for the USSR and jazz music, he started to go down the rabbit hole into the unknown. Started his cooperation with Haim Vitali in the Alternative Fashion Week 2019 of the party line KOKSHOCK. Since then, they continued to play and perform in various projects until HMS was established.
Sharon Reuveni Bio
Songwriter, singer and bass player. Active in the local Tel Avivian indie scene for over a decade and to this day with her minimalistic, rough and moving solo project - Sharon Sometimes. Sharon was the lead singer and writer in the post-punk band Opioids. Afterwards continued to play bass in many bands such as EmotionLotion, Mifretzet BaMoah (Aneurysm) and Ariel Kleiner’s band.
